KRUGER PARK GETAWAY Enjoy Big Five game viewing in the unique Kruger Park and in some of the world-renowned neighboring private game reserves that together make the greater Kruger area in one of the largest wildlife conservancies in the world. Choose to spend either three or four days on safari.

Safari Day
1 Johannesburg to Mohlabetsi Safari Lodge We
depart from Johannesburg to travel east, stopping at the historical gold rush
town of Pilgrim's rest end of the extraordinary example of river erosion found
at Bourke’s Luck Potholes. We
also stop at Blyde River Canyon to view the 800 m drop into the gorge.
We arrive at Mohlabetsi Safari Lodge, part of the greater Kruger, in time
for an exciting game drive in an open Land Rover - looking for elusive nocturnal
animals. Dinner is served in the "Boma" under the stars before we
overnighting comfortable rondavels. Day
2 - Kruger National Park and Moholoholo Forest Camp This
morning we are up at sunrise for a game drive in the Kruger National Park before
a "bush" breakfast. Kruger was established in 1898 and is the oldest
National Park in Africa. The Park
provides sanctuary to 147 mammal species, including the big five, as well as
over 500 species of birds. The rest
of the day is spent game viewing. We
leave the Park and travel to nearby Moholoholo Forest Camp we enjoy an evening
drive in open Land Rovers before dinner in the reed "boma".
We overnighting comfortable log and thatch chalets. Day
3 - Moholoholo to Johannesburg

overnight in the National Park camp at Satara, an area known for spectacular
bushveld sunsets. After dinner we
sit out under the African sky and listen to the sounds of the bush. Day
3 - Kruger National Park and Moholoholo Forest Camp We
start the day with an early morning game drive before breakfast.
The area around Satara offers the best grazing in Kruger and large
concentrations of game and lion are found there.
Game viewing for the rest of the morning enables us to explore more of
the 2 million hectares that make up the Kruger National Park.
After lunch we leave the Park and travel to nearby Moholoholo Forest
Camp, where we enjoy an evening drive in open Land Rovers before dinner around
the campfire in a reed "boma". We
overnight in comfortable log and thatch chalets. Day
4 - Moholoholo to Johannesburg
