With regards to your safari in Mozambique - Traveling from your country of origin directly to Johannesburg, South Africa, you will more than likely need to overnight in Johannesburg on your day of arrival. The following day will see you catching the only daily flight from Johannesburg to Beira, Mozambique.
When entering South Africa with a firearm, you will need to apply for a Temporary Import/Export Permit. We strongly recommend using Air 2000 / Hunters Support to assist you through this process. "My two sons and I had the best trip ever! My boys have thanked me numerous times for the trip of a life time. They are begging for round two. I also enjoyed the trip and loved seeing the joy on my boys’ faces! The staff, food, lodges and professional hunter were second to none. We felt like royalty! Thank you John X Safaris for the outstanding memories!"~ Brian Lind '14 from
"Everything was great. Top three hunts ever. I will be back!"~ Martin Osthulm '13 from
"The opportunity to shoot in tough conditions was a perfect learning experience. Carl gave us the shooting and the trophies we were after. The Karoo was just like hunting the west, long shots in the wind were mandatory. The coast was like a different world. Chasing big animals in small clearings and big valleys made awesome TV! Thanks again I cannot wait to be back!"
Aaron Davidson - Owner Gunwerks
"Had a Great Time! Hope to return soon"~ Tom Lincoln '14 from
"The hunting was superb and the trophies excellent. Greg and Bless are the best team I have hunted with in Africa. The food and accommodation at Oude Kraal and Lalibela were brilliant, thanks to Lauren and Charmaine, and Pam and I loved our 10 days in the Cape Province."~ Max King '14 from
"This was my first trip to Mozambique & my first dangerous game hunt. Due to my professional hunters and tracker, I never had any concern over my safety. I was successful in all the game I hunted and all the game taken were mature trophies. I would recommend John X Safaris to anyone that was considering an African Hunt."~ Ron Machado '12 from USA
