For years, Henry Smith has dreamt of exploration and adventure as his Dad, Cable, relived and shared stories of his travels to the dark continent. Fast forward the clock to the summer of 2025 and Henry was finally headed to the East Cape for his first taste of African hunting.
Together, this father and son duo teamed up with PH Carl van Zyl, Tracker, David Adams, and hunting terries Flash and Rigby for an unforgettable adventure which would test both father and son to the limits.
There were hard days filled with frustration and disappointment only to be triumphed by extraordinary days of success and reward.
This is a film about a boy and his dad and the bonds between hunters that bring us closer through the adventures shared. It’s not how your story begins… it’s how it ends which defies us.
