This week sees John X Safaris attending SCI’s national convention in Reno, NV. We will be in our traditional booths # 312 & 213. Furthermore you can look forward to seeing Rick back at SCI after an absence of many years. Come along and catch up with him, Dave Harwood, and Brett Nelson!

At this time we’d like to remind you of a couple of our 2013/14 hunts that are still available:
Tailor Make Your Very Own Safari: Join us on our classic daily rate plains game safari. Choose from a variety of species on offer from one of our four camps within the Eastern Cape, either hunting from the coast, the mountains, savannah, or Karoo. Enjoy a plains game hunt like no other, while experiencing the Big 5 from base camp at no additional charges. There’s no better hunting destination in Africa for the first time hunter, collector or family safari!
Hunters Hunting: 1×1 @ $400 Per Hunter Per Day, 2×1 @ $300 Per Hunter Per Day
Non-Hunter/Observers: $250 Per Day

Get the Youth Hunting – Father/Mother & Son/Daughter Special running throughout our show season (Jan + Feb 2013). Any parent booking a 10 Day 1×1 Plains Game hunt during the booking season, earns a gratis daily rate on 1 child under the age of 18. The child may hunt with his/her parent as per the relevant seasons trophy rate sheet.

Rut Dates: Due to a last-minute postponing we’ve got 4 – 5 slots available for the early rut during May 2013. May 2014 is sold out!

Lion Hunt: Botswana closed down Lion hunting 4 years ago, Zambia just announced the closure of all State owned concessions as of 2014 with all cat hunting closing this season. Need we say more? Our Lion hunt on offer is NOT what 90% of South African outfits are advertizing. Our Lion population is self-sufficient/sustaining, with quota becoming available every 3-5 years. This Lion and a pride roam free on 28 000 acres of Big 5 concession.
Cost of Hunt: $60 000 – Includes Lion, 10 Days Daily Rate and Taxes for 1 Hunter and 1 Non – Hunter.
