John X Conservation & Foundation | Giving Thanks where Thanks is Due
Each year as we approach Thanksgiving we are reminded of the many wonderful things in our lives. Blessings of family, friends, health, goals, passions and exciting futures.
So much of what we do at John X Safaris and what we are able to achieve is all due to you. But have you ever wondered what impact your safari has in Africa? Through your hunts financial contribution, we are able to support, sustain and grow as the model evolves in a changing world.
In recent years there has been a movement away from the old phrase; “If it pays it stays.” But the reality of the saying has not changed for those in the frontline on the ground. From wildlife to rural communities and the many projects on the go, it takes real dollars with continued efforts from a committed group of people to ensure the vision not merely survives, but flourishes.
So what has your contribution assisted with in Africa?
LAND | Over 3000 000 Acres of Land Protected / Conserved & Growing
“Critical habitats and ecosystems, as well as overall biodiversity of wildlife and animals are conserved because of hunting.”
COMMUNITY | Over 500 Kids Supported in our Local Community since 2018 & Growing
“A collaboration between the John X Foundation and Blood Origins has ensured support in education, infrastructure development and continued growth of the Carlisle Bridge School because of hunting.”
EMPLOYMENT | 52 Directly Employed in 2024 & Growing
“Economic growth and conservation efforts thrive with local job opportunities because of hunting.”
SUSTAINABILITY | Over 100 000 Head of Game + 3600 – 4000 Flora Species Sustained & Growing
“Spread across 5 different biomes and made up of more than 40 huntable species sustained because of hunting.”
This Thanksgiving we want to say THANK YOU. Thank you for believing in the vision. A vision which sees hunters hunting in order to connect, to ultimately conserve something we all believe deserves conserving.
