Anchor Bullets’ First African Adventure

25th April 2026

Richard joined PH Ed for a 10-day hunt of diversity, chasing some of the East Cape’s most challenging and rewarding species. Every day was a test of skill, patience, and respect for the animals and the expanses that they call home.

The journey began with the Tiny 10. Small in size yet vast in challenge. Hours in a blind, watching for Blue Duiker to slip through thick coastal cover to come in for a drink. Quiet nights for Grysbuck in the dark. Climbs into the mountains for the sharp sensed Vaal Rhebuck. Each hunt demanded precision, discipline, and patience. The East Cape’s smallest antelope, yet among the toughest to take.

Kudu and Bushbuck, rulers of the valley thickets. Every stalk with hope and every shot carefully taken. On the open plains, White Springbuck, Black Springbuck, and Zebra, different terrain yet the same standard, nothing came easy.
