Daniel joined us at the peak of the 2025 season, hunting alongside PH Dave and Tracker Shooter. Before they even set foot in the bush, Daniel and Dave went offshore on a deep-sea fishing run in the Indian Ocean, a good riddance for jet lag and the perfect way to kick off a proper African Safari.
The hunt stretched across the Eastern Cape, with Daniel taking Eland, Kudu, Black Wildebeest, Gemsbuck, and Zebra. Each area brought its own terrain, conditions, and hunting approach, where no two stalks were the same. From wide open plains to thick valleys, every day demanded a different strategy.
Many failed stalks would often lead to one that mattered the most, but the Bushbuck won on this trip. Needless to say, Daniel will be back in pursuit of the Cape bushbuck, and when he finally takes his ram, it’ll mean that much more, earned the hard way and remembered long after the shot.
