Season 2011 is due to start at the end of the month with our first hunts of the season. Before those Safaris commence we’ll be covering an array of hunting topics requested by you the hunter and reader.
We’ll be looking at one of our most majestic species on offer in the Eastern Cape, the Common Lechwe.
There’s more to these beauties than meets the eye – See why they’re becoming one of our most popular hunts.
Let’s return to the mountains and discuss why we believe a mountain hunt in the Eastern Cape can be one of the most challenging hunts around. You may think twice before proclaiming South Africa a first timers destination only.
The going gets tough and hunts exciting when you’re 6000 feet above sea level going after species that were born to rule the mountains.
Dogs and cats have never been friends. Join us in our Coastal Forests as we go after Lynx with hounds. The demand for these hunts are never-ending.
A cat hunters delight – dogs running like mad, old timers yodeling to the chorus of hounds, and every conceivable piece of brush that can prick you – will. Taking excitement to the next level.
You’ve heard of Common, Black and White Springbuck. You may have hunted all three of the colour variations, but have you had the chance at hunting the next big thing – the rare Copper Springbuck. We have the numbers that few have available to choose from.
The Copper Springbuck – Truly a magnificent addition to the existing 3 Springbuck colour variations.
The Tiny 10. Many a hunter will pass up the little guys, only to discover years later what they’ve been missing out on. You can hunt 7 of the Tiny 10 right here in the Eastern Cape!
Blue Duiker – The shadows of our forests, blink and they’re gone. It sums up the Tiny 10, but you can hunt the forests, plains, savannah and mountains in pursue of these specialized species.
