Storm clouds start building in the west each afternoon as early October rolls along, but it’s not until mid October that something starts brewing on the horizon.
This past week signaled the arrival of the rains, the heavens opened and one could swear you heard the earth breathing a sigh of relief. It’s amazing how fast the water comes and how much faster the green follows.
Of course it’s the “Dagga boys” who make the most of the muddy pools first…
While the Hippos even seem more active than their usual lazy selves.
