Here’s to kicking off the new season in the same fashion as we ended the last

Having barely touched down on the tarmac in Johannesburg, having enjoyed an extraordinary show season during January, we’ve hit the ground running. It would be impossible to mention each and everyone for your continued unwavering support of John X Safaris. It goes without saying that the hunting community’s hospitality is something worthy of being in awe of. Your friendships, so too your support, continues to grow year in and year out, leaving us near speechless. For that we are most grateful – Thank you.

By entrusting us with your next adventure you’ve handed us the baton of responsibility towards our wildlife, our local communities and ultimately sustainable conservation. It’s a responsibility we do not take lightly and one we look forward to sharing with you on your next adventure to the dark continent.

v The van Horn’s joined Professional Hunter, Ross “Stix” Hoole, tracker, Thandu Xolo, hunting dogs, Baxter and Pepper, and our favourite cameraman, Ozzy.

Taking on the East Cape with both rifle and bow, they enjoyed hunting from Woodlands Safari Estate as well the Great Karoo. Beautiful evenings spent around the campfire was a daily joy while encountering some of the most interesting wildlife on the planet was just some of the bonuses along the way to harvesting a fine selection of game.
