Knight’s & Busby’s – An African Voyage…

The Knight’s and Busby’s joined us on safari during the first week of May just as the first summer days had turned into crisp winter mornings and the expectation of the Kudu rut started filling the air with animals on the move. It’s an exciting time of the year for us as we glass even harder in the hope of finding “the one that got away” as the bulls start dropping their guard and moving into the cows for this annual phenomena.

But it wasn’t all about Kudu, there was a bunch more on offer as the teams went hard at it making the most of conditions on the ground. The Busby’s teaming up with PH Carl van Zyl would see many a first as both Jeff and Andrea had never hunted Africa before, while Chad and Renea joined Ph Ed Wilson, tracker Ropsie and hunting dog Django, inviting cameraman Grant Clegg along to capture all the magic.

They hunted hard and enjoyed the rewards of hitting Africa on one of the most perfect weeks of our season.
