My African Dream | Kevin’s Hunt

Having hunted in several countries and on a number of continents, Africa was always on the radar and a lifelong goal for Kevin Emery.

He, like many of us dream of pursuing certain species and for Kev that was the hunt for Cape Buffalo and Sable. Joining his good friends the Dueck’s and Kennedy’s on his first African safari, together with his wife Laura, he teamed up with PH Ross “Stix” Hoole, Tracker MK and Terrier Pepper.

Taking in the scenery laced with daily experiences and soaking up the East Cape safari life proved to be the perfect setting as they hunted mountain scapes, vast plains and the breath-taking savannah.

There was plains game… there was dangerous game… but few could compare to close encounters with Cape Buffalo.
